Art Brightens Darkened Windows

Few things bother visitors to Downtown Syracuse more than seeing vacant retail space, so it is no wonder that CNYSpeaks participants called for vacant space to be utilized or beautified by any means necessary — a sentiment that is reflected in Citizens’ Agenda for Downtown Syracuse. (Endorse the agenda here.)

That’s why it is so welcome that the Downtown Committee has decided to use the beautiful art work created by the Syracuse Poster Project to dress up several key buildings on the southwest corner of Salina and Fayette streets.
